Carly & Todd's Wedding Event

This past weekend found me back at Spruce Point Inn in beautiful Boothbay Harbor for Carly and Todd's wonderful weekend wedding event. Friday evening is typically rehearsal night followed by a rehearsal dinner/party...but the wedding coordinator was a no-show for the rehearsal so after some mingling/visiting by family and friends it was off to the rehearsal dinner. The mode of transportation from the SPI to the dinner venue for everyone can be seen below :)

Navigating the tricky loading dock

The ride was great as it was also a scenic tour of the Boothbay Harbor Region which took between 30-45 mins. Very enjoyable!

The ceremony was to be held on the ocean side deck but the weather turned NASTY Saturday morning and it was cold & rainy for the better part of the day so plans changed and the site was moved to a tent that is attached to the Pemaquid Reception Hall.

How cute is the little Flower Girl?!? ADORABLE!

Both in action :)

The Kiss

By now the rain had stopped so we made our way down to the oceanside deck for some group portraits. The air was damp and the wind was blowing off the ocean making it quite raw outside but everyone hung in there and we managed to get some really great (and fun) images :)

Dispite the fact that by now most everyone was chilled to the bone, we stayed a bit longer to get a few of just the Newlyweds

Family and Friends worked on the details all morning and early afternoon creating as beautiful a room as you will ever see. I just had to include a few detail shots here and of course the slideshow will have many, many more.

I'll end this post with Carly and her Dad during the Father/Daughter dance

It was a spectacular event. No detail overlooked and everyone had a GREAT time!! Great Families and great friends. The reception was a blast...these people partied hardy and rocked it all night long!! Lots of great images from the reception party that will be included in the upcoming slideshow. ;)

It was such a pleasure to be a part of Carly and Todd's most special event! Congratulations you two, and may only the best be in your future.

Allison & Matt Wed In Boothbay Harbor

It was a beautiful September day for a wedding on Boothbay Harbor. Friends and Family from near and far gathered to witness the joining of Allison and Matt as the big sail ships raced in the background during the annual Shipyard Cup. The sun was warm and the soft breeze off the water was refreshing. Just a lovely day for a beautiful event.

Here are a few from the day (be sure to click to enlarge):
