1st Day Of Spring (?)

This was taken yesterday, on the first day of Spring. Look like Spring to you?? Nope, me either. If you are viewing this from out-of-state then maybe your backyard actually does look 'Spring-like'...but this is how it looks out back here. Kind of depressing, ugh. Wish I had spent this past week in "VEGAS BABY!!!" at the annual WPPI convention, but alas I am stranded here in the snowy Western Mountains Of Maine. It would have been fun to see photographer friends of mine from across the country who were/are there...maybe next year (sigh).
This post also serves as the resurection of the BED BLOG. It has been awhile, since Halloween actually. Long tough winter here and blogging had to be moved to the bottom of my priority list. My children and myself have had more than our share of sickness (we caught every bug going around I think) and we have had at least two storms every week here. hard to worry about blogging when every few days I have to spend a good portion of the day cleaning up from a big storm. Winter in Maine...I love it (to some extent), but this one has been a bit much. Everyone I know is more than ready for some melting, warm sun, and yes even the arrival of the usually dreaded "mud season". I would love to see some mud. Anything besides white. But with a good three feet of snow still on the ground, I am sure it will still be awhile.
Well there, I did it. I posted on my Blog. I hope I can make the time to begin doing so on a somewhat regular basis again. So much has happened that I wish I had been able to post during the past several months, maybe now and then I can sneak in something from the past just to catch up. A lot to come as well, and hopefully I can keep current :)
Easter this weekend...kind of early huh? No outside Easter Egg hunt again this year with the snow. Happy Easter to all!!
Cheers! :)
