Devon and I have been planning her Senior Session since June so I was really excited to finally meet up with her and shoot! The weather had me a bit concerned that we may have to reschedule because it was raining for most of the afternoon here in Strong yesterday. Shortly before leaving town I called Devon to check on how it was up in Rangeley and she gave me the good news that it was sunny and HOT! When I arrived around 5:45 the sun was still a bit too high in the sky and quite harsh so we all jumped into the boat and went looking for some better light...and did we ever find it!! Beautiful, golden light....
Once back to shore the sun had settled a lot and was providing some really great light for us. There is nothing like relaxing in a hammock on a hot July afternoon in Maine...
I have to include a headshot to show off Devon's beautiful eyes up close...
At this point the sun was about ready to set and a lot of clouds were drifting by making some interesting light changes every few minutes. I really like the tone of these next two as we were starting to lose the light...
And this was taken with the last few golden rays from the sun JUST before it set...
It was really hard to select a handful of images from our session to post here because they are all so good! You did a GREAT job Devon!! :) It was great meeting you and your family, and of course a lot of fun shooting with you!

My favorite is Devon in B&W in the hammock, That's an ultra nice shot and the black and white complements her. Blonde and B&W seems to go together.
