I was very excited when the editor of REAL MAINE WEDDINGS contacted me a couple months ago about using one of my pictures in an ad for The Lucerne Inn for their Spring 2010 edition!
As I talked with the manager of The Lucerne Inn I learned that they loved the picture so much that they were using it as the desktop/background photo on computers at the Inn :) Very cool!
Here is the full two page spread ad featuring the picture of Kerri & Brandon strolling along the grounds of the Inn as their family and friends are enjoying the reception (It is also Kerri & Brandon in the gazebo picture).

Cluster Map Archive
Every year around the 10th of March my Cluster Map, seen to the right of this page, gets archived. I always hate to see the past years map go, and with it all of the locations of my blog visitors. Cluster Maps assured me that if they did not archive the map it would eventually turn into one giant red spot...so I guess I'm okay with it. I had a lot of very interesting locations this past year due to the worldly locations of friends and family members of my incredible wedding couples who come to my blog to see the 'sneak-peeks' of the weddings. I greatly appreciate all my visitors and look forward to where they will all visit from this year!

Stay Tuned
This past Saturday night I was invited to Stay Tuned's band rehearsal. They are gearing up to hit the stage again after a few years hiatus and wanted some pictures for a promotional poster. I was more than happy to help and it was a lot of fun listening to them jam!
I shot a ton but here are some of my favorites...
John Winter, Keith Corson, and Dan Libby are Stay Tuned
Keith rockin' his bass
Dan bangin' in his corner ;)
John jammin' on his Fender

The boys sounded GREAT! If you get the chance, go out and see Stay Tuned when they come near you! Their first 'reunion gig' (if you will) will be at the legendary Nostalgia Tavern in Kingfield, Maine on April 10th.

Signs of Spring
The weather has been sooooo nice as of late that it makes one think that maybe, just maybe, Spring is right around the corner. Temps are getting close to 50 during the sunny days and everything is melting FAST! This picture is of some dead ornamental sunflowers (last years). This was late enough in the day that the snow melting from the roof was dripping down onto the sunflower and then freezing again into icicles as it ran off from the sunflower. The little icicles were forming at an angle due to the constant wind blowing while this was happening.
Late Winter '10
Wow, can't believe it is already early March! I have been terrible about blogging this winter. As I always say, when things are busy, hectic, etc. blogging has to be pushed to the bottom of the list.
Things seem to have calmed down a bit and I may actually have some time on my hands to do things such as blogging before the busy season begins once again. I have been wanting to get something 'winter-ish' posted for a while, so here are a few pictures of Emi's cute little snowman she made after a recent snowstorm.
Here's Emi with her snowman (I said it was little ;) )
Lex didn't bother to slip her boots on when she came out to see what we were up to. Brrrrr (she must be from Maine)
Hopefully there will be no more snowmen being made around here for another 10 months or so. Think Spring!! :)
