Elyse & Dirk: Mississippi Wedding

I recently had the pleasure of going to Mississippi to visit old friends and shoot their daughter's wedding. The plan was to transport the ladies to the wedding location aboard my friend Jimmy's boat...but the weatherman said it was going to be a rainy day. Boy was he wrong, it was a beautiful day for a boat ride to the wedding along the Gulf Coast!

Well wishes from the Harbor Master before we set sail :)

Dirk arrived ready and excited!

First moments joined together in front of their families and friends

Then Elyse, Dirk, and I had some 'Alone Time' as everyone made their way to the reception. I absolutely love when my couples make sure they schedule some time for us to shoot beautiful portraits all by ourselves! :)

I was excited to have the chance to use this old Live Oak as a location for portraits! No Live Oaks in Maine/New England ;)

What a fun wedding day! A big thank you to Elyse and Dirk for allowing me the privilege to be a part of your special day! It was a lot of fun meeting and getting to know you both, your friends, and your extended families. I wish you all the best in this new chapter of your lives as Husband and Wife. Cheers!
