When I arrived at the main camp, Liz and Kyle along with Liz's parents were coming into the dock aboard The Hawk. I was invited aboard and off we went, their island as our destination for the session.
Sunny, HOT, and HUMID day! The breeze on the lake felt amazing!

Almost to the island

Great light inside the boathouse

We then made our way to the main camp on the island, sat on the porch and enjoyed a cold drink

We laughed a lot during our session! Love capturing natural laughter :)

After cooling off in the shade of the porch and under the shade trees surrounding the camp, we put on our glasses and headed back out into the blistering late afternoon August sun

But not for too long ;) Did I mention it was HOT?

Again, I love these moments

Along the outside of the boathouse. One of my favorites from the day

This is why I love to shoot with the 70-200. I was probably a good 30 feet away from them, just letting them be themselves, not directing, not posing, couldn't even hear them talking I was so far away. Wait for it...wait for it...and then get this natural flirtatious moment between them. Love it!

Liz had this great idea to climb up onto the roof of the old ice house, even though there was a bit of concern as to the structural integrity of the old roof ;) What a great idea! I think this is sooo cool and definitely one of my favorites

I'll end with a little rooftop hottness ;)

As is the norm with my out-of-state clients, I hadn't met Liz and Kyle in person until our E-Session. They were SO much fun! I had a great time shooting with them and they did an AMAZING job! I'm super excited for their Vermont Wedding next month!
