I recently had the absolute pleasure of shooting with Nancy on a FHEO (For His Eyes Only) Session and wanted to post one image from our shoot. I know, only one is a tease...but that is the idea behind the FHEO ;) Beautiful!
I offer FHEO Sessions for my brides who want to make a very special album as a gift for their brand new hubbies, but anyone can do this for their 'Someone Special' so by all means contact me if you would like to create some beautiful images too.

+116 Degrees
Today it is 92 degrees in the shade. The leaves are not even on the trees yet, crazy. Must be a record high for this date (?). The reason I am posting this is because I had a post dated January 16th of this year and it was -24...so in just a little over 4 months time there was a temp change of +116 degrees. That's pretty extreme...but then again, this IS Maine afterall.

Evening Visitors
The snow this winter was deep, very deep. With deep snow we don't get to see our regular family of deer all winter long. As the snow melts they slowly start making their way from the deep woods back to the outskirts of our property, and we started seeing them again a few weeks ago but only along the tree lines where the ground was first bare. Now that the snow has finally left our yard for good (knock on wood) our deer family has returned to grazing in our yard during the evening hours...almost a nightly occurrence (except when run off by our dogs when we fail to look out the windows prior to letting them out one last time for the night). This was last night shortly after 7:00, taken from a second floor window as Emi knocked on the window to get them all to look at us so we could take their picture ;)

Pick a card....
SanDisk just a ran a HUGE sale on some of their CF Cards and I took advantage and stocked up on some new 4GB Extreme III's. I have always used the Ultra II's and have always had great results but I hear good things on the Extreme III and at these prices how can I go wrong. I think I now officially have wayyyyy more Gigs than I will ever possibly use during a weekend-long wedding event, but better to have too many than too few ;) And if you are not shooting with SanDisk...well, you should be.
